Future Spaces

 In Uncategorised

To close a multi-site programme looking at community space, education and institutional attitudes, Basic Space has organised a public discussion with representatives from Catalyst Arts Belfast and Ormston House Limerick.  Future Spaces seeks to contextualise the independent art space in its past, present and future iterations.

A discussion around independent spaces might involve asking: How do independent spaces survive under current economic conditions? How they can adapt? And what is their potential future? The panel will include Mary Conlon and Peter Glasgow and be chaired by Kim Gleeson and Philip Kavanagh.

Event details: Unit 4 , James Joyce Street, Dublin 1 on Saturday 28 July at 2pm.
