Limerick Environmental Network
The Limerick Environmental Network is hosting the first meet-up of 2020 at Ormston House on Thursday 30 January, 7.-8.30pm with two keys objectives for 2020.
The network will be putting together a working group to guide the network’s actions and growth throughout the year. All positions are available, so please consider what role you might be interested in. We will pinpoint what is needed and open them up for nominations. If you cannot attend the meet-up but would like to take on any specific tasks, please let us know and we will include you in the process.
Following on from the previous meet-ups we will be continuing to plan and perform climate actions. If you would like to help with any of these actions we would love your input. The actions already in the works are:
– A River Shannon action for Riverfest
– A River Shannon clean-up with the Riverpath Volunteers
– An Earth Day action on 22 April with Fridays for Future
– Schools’ projects and St. Patrick’s Day participation
Admission is free and all are welcome.
