About Marta Sławińska:
Marta is a researcher and curator holding a BA in Creative Design and a MA by Research in the fields of visual culture and cultural geography. She recently participated in the Urban Studies Summer School organised by Vienna University and City University New York in Austria, and in the European Cultural Foundation Idea Camp in Spain. She is a ECF grantee and Project Leader of the World Recipe Exchange.
About the World Recipe Exchange:
Serving up a feast of tastes and experiences with a large sprinkling of solidarity, the World Recipe Exchange is an extensive programme of food events creating a platform for cross-cultural dialogue. The project explores the diverse local and migrant culinary traditions of Limerick City and creates an environment where various communities can meet and get to know each other, while sharing a bit of their own cultures – their culinary knowledge, skills and memories – and co-creating food events.
New to the Workspace Social?
The Workspace Social is a weekly event developed as an alternative format for artists’ talks and networking. Every Thursday, a local or visiting artist is invited to join us for lunch: to discuss a recent project, to share new research or to propose an activity. Participants are welcome to bring along their lunch and to eat with the artist.
