Tom Watt & Tanad Williams
Brute Clues is a collaborative project by Andreas Kindler von Knobloch, Tom Watt and Tanad Williams at the Project Arts Centre in Dublin. This week, we welcome Tom and Tanad to Limerick as part of the Ormston House R&R Programme (Research & Residency). For the Workspace Social, the artists will talk about their practices, research and this recent experimental project, as well as conduct an experiment in cement in the gallery space.
Admission is free and all are welcome. Don’t forget to bring your lunch!
About Tom & Tanad:
Tom Watt and Tanad Williams have been informal collaborators since graduating from NCAD in Dublin. Each have their own distinct individual practices but hold an ethos of helping each other to realise their individual ideas and projects.
They have common interests in architecture, functionality and construction of space and they make a living working as part-time technicians in various galleries in Dublin.
The two artists and third collaborator, Andreas Kindler Von Knobloch, had their first formal collaboration in the exhibition Brute Clues held in Project Arts Centre from September to October 2016.
About the Workspace Social:
The Workspace Social is a weekly event developed as an alternative format for artists’ talks and networking. Every Thursday, a local or visiting artist is invited to join us for lunch: to discuss a recent project, to share new research or to propose an activity. Participants are welcome to bring along their lunch and to eat with the artist.
