Artists’ Initiatives Meetings

 In Uncategorised

Ormston House is delighted to join AIM, an international network of artist-run initiatives with 10 partners across Europe.

AIM was established in 2010 in order to create a common platform to share experience and knowledge, and to increase visibility of the artist-run art scene. AIM’s programme consists of meetings, conferences and exhibitions, and stimulates mobility and new collaborations for artists and professionals in the art field. AIM has been awarded long-term support by Nordisk Kulturkontakt in 2017.

To date, meetings have been held in Berlin in October 2010 & 2017, Stockholm in February 2011, Copenhagen in September 2011, Binissalem in February 2012, Stockholm in February 2013, Helsinki in September 2013, Stockholm in February 2014, Athens in May 2014, Riga/Grobina in September 2014, Stockholm in April 2015, and Wroclaw in May 2016.
