Ormston House is delighted to host and co-produce LIPS II – the second Limerick International Publishers’ Salon – an exhibition and programme of events focusing on artists’ books & zines from 7-11 October 2014 featuring:

Baby Beef Art Press, Aideen Barry, Coracle Press,Impact Press, Jemma Kang, Eimearjean McCormack, Mermaid Turbulence, Mice Hell, Björn Mortensen, Jane O’Sullivan, Siobhán Piercy, Pink Parrot Press, Frank Rafter, Kasia Kaminska/Maciej Pestka/Read That Image, Road Books, Marian Sheahan, Chisato Tamabayashi, Isabella Walsh, and Dawn West.

Pen to Page: making and creating books
A panel discussion examining artists’ books, children’s picturebooks and illustrated books featuring leading illustrators, publishers, curators will present insights into their work and publishing: Tracy Fahey, Jemma Kang, Laura Little, Peter Morgan, Becky Palmer and Martin Salisbury (keynote, Cambridge School of Art)

Thursday 9 October 2014, 6pm
Pen to Page will be followed by the launch of the Pink Parrot Press, a small independent publisher specialising in producing artists’ books and children’s picture-books founded by Laura Little in 2012.
