House of Changes

On Thursday, 24 October from 6–11pm, a diverse array of experimental musicians from across Ireland will convene in Ormston House for a five-hour group improvisation. Artist-in-residence Mícheál Keating will be joined by Méabh McKenna, Péist, Eimear Reidy, Cathal Roche, and Róis. The performance will last from evening to nighttime, and audiences will be invited to come, listen, stay, or leave as they please during the process.

Keating is a media artist from Limerick whose practice traverses sound, video, performance, text, and image. His work explores politics and transformation in rural Irish landscape. He is also a musician (Bleeding Heart Pigeons, Péist, Laura Duff, The Low Field), music producer, and festival organiser (Féile na Gréine).

This event is part of the Limerick Night Time Economy initiative, supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media and Limerick City & County Council.
