Angel Robinson

We are excited to announce that Angel Robinson has joined our Artist Affiliate Scheme through our open call to graduates of Limerick School of Art and Design.

Angel Isaac Robinson (b. 2004) is an artist living in Limerick City, Ireland. Their work is site-and situation-specific, often informed by practices of oral learning, digital communication, and observational research, addressing questions of articulation, perception, and self-expression within on- and offline contexts.

They are concerned with systems of organisation, compartmentalisation, dissemination, and self-representation, and how these are articulated through speech, writing, internalisation, and appropriation. These concerns are enacted through interventions that engage existing social and institutional structures, including additions, removals, and subtle reconfigurations of space, language, and information.

We look forward to working with and supporting Angel over the next twelve months.

The Artist Affiliate Scheme, previously the Artist-in-Residence Scheme, is a support mechanism for artists based in the Limerick region and is tailored to the needs of the individual artist.
