Students, alumni and staff of the Masters in Social Practice and the Creative Environment at Limerick School of Art & Design will facilitate a day of talks at Ormston House.

The Workspace Social will follow Some Joined-Up Thinking: a morning of presentations introducing on-going socially-engaged projects by alumni Michael Cleary and Baerbel Schlueter. Current MA SPACE postgraduates will discuss some of the questions socially-engaged practitioners face when developing projects.

Join us from 1-2pm when we’ll be reviewing the principle ideas and challenges from Some Joined-Up Thinking or from 10am if you would like to attend the presentations as well.

Admission is free and all are welcome. Don’t forget to bring your lunch!

New to the Workspace Social?

The Workspace Social is a weekly event developed as an alternative format for artists’ talks and networking. Every Thursday, a local or visiting artist is invited to join us for lunch: to discuss a recent project, to share new research or to propose an activity. Participants are welcome to bring along their lunch and to eat with the artist.
