Programme

Suzannah O’Reilly Mullaney & Brian Fitzgerald
Parallel Editions is an independent, commercial Fine Art Print Publishing house based in the west of Ireland. Through a collaborative approach to making, they produce, high quality multiples, primarily but not limited to, works on paper, from the traditional to digital and also reflecting trends in contemporary artistic practice.
Parallel Editions is the brainchild of Suzannah O’Reilly-Mullaney and Brian Fitzgerald, two long-time printmakers and established artists in their own right, who join us for this week’s Workspace Social. They have both been working both independently in the medium of print, as well as collaboratively with artists, designers and all round creatives transforming their ideas and thoughts into high quality prints. A further unique feature of Parallel Editions is the intent to develop the appeal of the traditional, handmade, low-editioned artist book that has more value than that of the commercial, large-run publication.
Admission is free and all are welcome. Don’t forget to bring your lunch!
About the Workspace Social:
The Workspace Social is a weekly event developed as an alternative format for artists’ talks and networking. Every Thursday, a local or visiting artist is invited to join us for lunch: to discuss a recent project, to share new research or to propose an activity. Participants are welcome to bring along their lunch and to eat with the artist.
