Supermarket Art Fair

This April Ormston House returns to Supermarket Art Fair to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fair.

For Supermarket 2026 we present a solo booth by Irish artist Daniel Tuomey. Drawings from his ongoing Pucaí series will be exhibited alongside a new mixed-media sculpture. Tuomey will also perform Stuck, an excavation during the fair. This performance touches on the erasure of Irish oral traditions and the tangled self-image of a postcolonial nation thrust onto the neoliberal global stage.

2026 also marks 15 years of Ormston House, which was founded in 2011. The fair has been key to us presenting an international programme and this is the ninth edition of the fair we have participated in since 2014. Other artists that we have exhibited at the fair include Jennifer Trouton, Laura Fitzgerald, Ciara Barker, Joy Gerrard, Ursula Burke, Alan Butler, Vanessa Donoso Lopez, Anastasia Artemeva, Gimena Blanco, Paraic Leahy, Celeen Mahé, Eilish Murrihy, Isabella Oberländer, Alan Phelan, and Paul Quast.

The 2026 edition of the fair takes place at Erskinehuset in Slakthusområdet, Stockholm from 23-26 April. Our participation is supported by Culture Ireland and Limerick Arts Office.
