Open Call: Kunstverein Aughrim

 In Uncategorised

The curatorial production office Kunstverein Aughrim has issued an open call for their Creative Producer Programme. Ormston House has devised one of the initiative’s training days, which will facilitate in-depth training and knowledge-transfer through tailored workshops and talks.

Applications are invited from individuals with a practice as a creative producer or freelance curator, active in the field of visual arts in Ireland. This eighteen-month programme, running from September 2025 to March 2027, will deliver ongoing curatorial guidance and support, access to training and development, and a bursary of €12,000.

Participants will partake in ten training days, five development days, and a five- to ten-day trip to the Netherlands during de Appel Curatorial Programme’s Lumbung Harvest Festival. They will also dedicate a period of time to a practice-based placement. Critical reflections, specially-commissioned texts, and content from training workshops will be published as a Creative Producer Handbook in the final months of the programme.

The deadline for applications is Monday, 30 June at 5pm. Full information on the programme and how to apply can be found here.
