Péist

On Thursday, 26 June 2025, we’re delighted to welcome Péist, a group of musicians and artists based in Limerick.

Péist are Mícheál Keating, Daithí Mac Cruitín, Eilis Mahon, Cian McGuirk, and Caimin Walsh. Taking their name from the Irish for ‘worm’, their improvisations use synthesisers, electro-acoustic instruments, and purpose-built software to “wriggle and writhe between sounds and musical forms, burrowing through the dirt.” They will be accompanied on the evening by guest musician Dan Walsh.

Join us for the concert on Thursday, 26 June 2025 from 7–9pm. Admission is free and booking is not necessary. Audiences are invited to come, listen, stay, or leave as they please during the performance.

You can find Péist’s music here.

This event forms part of Twilight Thursdays, a new Limerick City and County Council initiative aimed at enhancing the city’s nighttime economy. Taking place on the last Thursday of every month, Twilight Thursdays will bring together cultural events, live entertainment, and late-night business openings to create a dynamic and welcoming atmosphere for all.
