Visual Arts Ireland: Speed Curating 2025

 In Uncategorised

Ormston House curator Niamh Brown will participate in the upcoming Speed Curating event organised by Visual Arts Ireland (VAI) as part of their annual Get Together.

Speed Curating allows artists to book a ten-minute, one-on-one session with a curator. In this session, the artist can introduce their practice, discuss their current work in progress, and receive feedback. This fast-paced, friendly environment creates opportunities for curators to make connections and see new bodies of work in development.

This event will take place as part of Get Together at TU Dublin, Grangegorman Campus, East Quad on Monday, 8 September 2025. Panels will focus on ethical making, reactions to climate emergency, our place in the digital and natural world, and world-building.

Members of VAI can book their place for Speed Curating on the VAI website here.

VAI is the representative body for professional visual artists in Ireland. Through the delivery of networking, support, and information services, VAI assists artists and groups in developing their careers.
