Anywhere Projects

 In Uncategorised

Anywhere Projects is a new initiative founded by Caimin Walsh to present visual art, music and performance in unconventional spaces. The first manifestation – Comfort – features an exhibition of new drawings and sculptural installations by Walsh and Ciara Barker above the Commercial Bar on Catherine Street in Limerick City. The title alludes to both artists’ interests in the idea of leaving a normative state of being.

You can read more about the exhibition and the artists’ work here and join them for the opening reception on Thursday 28 March at 7pm. Admission is free and all are welcome.

About the artists:

She was the recipient of the twelve month Cork Printmakers’ emerging artist bursary award 2017 and is also a member of Limerick Printmakers. She simultaneously continues to develop her practice at spacecraft Artists’ Studios, an organisation of which she is a founding member and director.
