Niamh Brown will participate in Speed Curating at this year’s Get Together hosted by Visual Artists Ireland. More than 50 visual arts specialists will offer advice and support through Speed Curating, Specialist Clinics and Information Desks in response to this year’s theme: Sustainable! Ambition! Niamh’s current curatorial interests explore connections between landscape, mythology and data infrastructure. She is also interested in conversations around intersectional feminist practices through The Feminist Supermarket at Ormston House.
You can make a booking to meet with Niamh here.
As well as the opportunity to book appointments to meet with curators and other experts, the Get Together also provides the opportunity to hang out and chat with other attendees, as well as visit information desks from a wide range of organisations. Twenty-one visual artists from across a wide range of art practices and career levels will speak about their work, their motivation, and give insight into their careers.
You can find the full programme from 5-7 October 2021 here.
