Jennifer Allen & Alan Hogan
Elemental Arts Festival is back in September 2017! Please join us for the Workspace Social with co-founders Jennifer Allen and Alan Hogan who will chat about how the festival came about and how it will develop for the upcoming fifth edition in Limerick city.
Elemental relates to the fact that all the elements of Nature – earth, fire, water, air and metal – are the jump-off point for the festival. A special emphasis is placed on the people of Limerick, given that they are one of the key elements, without which there would be no festival. This year’s edition will encompass arts and culture in all guise including acrobatics, comedy, crafts, film, forgotten skills, music, photography, print, street theatre, and more.
Information about the open call for ideas and submissions can be found here.
Admission is free and all are welcome. Don’t forget to bring your lunch!
New to the Workspace Social?
The Workspace Social is a weekly event developed as an alternative format for artists’ talks and networking. Every Thursday, a local or visiting artist is invited to join us for lunch: to discuss a recent project, to share new research or to propose an activity. Participants are welcome to bring along their lunch and to eat with the artist.
