Emma Langford and Wallis Bird talk about their forthcoming show, Daughters Of The Pirate Queen: Spirit of Grace O’Malley, which will take place on International Women’s Day 2023 at the National Concert Hall in Dublin. The show was dreamed up by composer and conductor Eímear Noone in 2021, and at long last is coming to life with the help of the National Symphony Orchestra and a diverse cast of voices including Nina Hynes, Celine Byrne, Aisling McGlynn, Dawn Kenny, trumpeter Helen Doyle, costume designer Claire Garvey, and lighting designer Philip Geist.
