PhotoIreland Critical Practice Reviews

 In Uncategorised

Ormston House Artistic Director Pádraic E. Moore was recently an invited panelist on PhotoIreland’s Critical Practice Reviews (CPR) Session.

A CPR session takes the model of a group critique in which professionals and artists share a table to listen, discuss, and advise on the practice and development of the artists’ practices. The sessions provide less pressure through a more conversational format and an equal value on peer feedback. The session took place as part of the FUTURES Meet-Up programme.

Over the last decade, PhotoIreland has become a key constituent of the Visual Arts in Ireland, offering an annual festival dedicated to photography, running the The Library Project, Temple Bar, and developing constructive channels with a strong network of organisations worldwide.
