Mamobo Ogoro is a Nigerian-Irish social psychologist and social entrepreneur. Fuelled by her personal experience and by her academic research on prejudice, racism and dual cultural identity, Mamobo is the first Sanctuary PhD Fellow at the University of Limerick. In 2021, she was named Activist of the Year at the inaugural Black & Irish Awards. She is a board member at the Lime Tree Theatre in Limerick City, where she gets to channel her passion for the arts. Mamobo is the also the founder of Gorm Media, a social enterprise with a mission to curate common ground through innovative digital media, and to capture the stories and experiences of our communities.
