Concert promoter and festival organiser Jack Brolly will join us for lunch at this week’s Workspace Social.
Jack runs events under the title Lower Your Expectations and works as part of the organisational teams behind Open Ear Festival and Féile Na Gréine. He is involved in organising different kinds of events (in real life), he likes to promote them (online), and talks a lot (both in real life and online).
Jack is going to chat about the various modes through which people present themselves online and how these differ from platform to platform. He’ll also probably mention real life a bit but not too much because he thinks it’s stressful.
New to the Workspace Social?
The Workspace Social is a weekly event developed as an alternative format for artists’ talks and networking. Every Thursday, a local or visiting artist is invited to join us for lunch: to discuss a recent project, to share new research or to propose an activity. Participants are welcome to bring along their lunch and to eat with the artist.
The Workspace Social is kindly supported by Healthy Limerick an initiative jointly funded by Limerick City and County Council and the HSE as part of the Social Development Directorate.
