DARK MATTER or Optimism as a Strategy

Ormston House is delighted to present DARK MATTER or Optimism as a Strategy, a curated group booth of seven visual artists and one dance artist at SUPERMARKET 2014 in Stockholm.

SUPERMARKET is an international artist-run art fair that provides a showcase of artists’ initiatives from all over the world with the aim to display their unique projects and ideas, create opportunities for new networks on the Swedish and international art scene, and share the passion and vitality that are present in this sphere of the art world.

Ormston House is a cultural resource centre in the heart of Limerick City. We opened in 2011 to support creative practices and to provide the opportunity to develop challenging and experimental work. Through a programme of exhibitions, events and residencies, we offer a physical and intellectual space to encourage active participation in the arts. We strive to grow audiences for contemporary art and to build an international network for cultural exchange and engagement.

Our participation is kindly supported by Limerick National City of Culture 2014.
